| Job Description | Radiation-resistant design and testing engineers are responsible for radiation-resistant design of electrical and electronic circuits onboard satellites and radiation testing of components and circuits. This includes electronic component selection, fault-resistant circuit design, radiation testing at external facilities, and analysis of radiation effects on operational satellites. Responsibility: - Select electronic components from radiation-resistant perspective - Design electrical and electronic circuits with radiation resistance in consideration - Plan, prepare, conduct, analyze, and report radiation test at external testing facilities - Standardize test methods and improve labor-saving processes - Support the creation of an electronic component database using test analysis results - Investigate radiation-related phenomena observed on satellites in orbit - Other tasks as required and assigned |
| Requirement | [Required] - Graduation from a technical college or university in electrical and electronic engineering, physics, or other related field - Practical experience in electrical and electronic circuit design - Basic knowledge of the elementary processes of radiation - Basic knowledge of radiation detectors - Basic knowledge of the types and mechanisms of accelerators - Willingness to communicate in English - Business-level Japanese language proficiency [Preferred] - Experience in experiments using accelerators - Experience conducting experiments combining radiation detectors with NIMs (Nuclear Instrument Modules) - Knowledge of the radiation environment in space - Experience evaluating the radiation resistance of electronic components - Experience with radiation simulations - Experience developing software for embedded devices - Business-level English proficiency |
