Job Description | As an electrical and electronic circuit engineer, you will be responsible for the overall circuit design that forms the "heart" of the automated harvesting robot. Your role will be to integrate a wide range of systems, including the mobile platform, arm, sensing unit, and communication system. You will be involved in development to optimize circuits and systems, collaborating with engineers from other fields, such as mechanical design, control, and computer vision. In addition, as the robot will be used outdoors in agricultural fields, considerations such as environmental resistance and low power consumption are important. We welcome candidates who can lead the entire development process, including wiring design, board design, EMC/EMI countermeasures, and failure analysis. [Tasks include] - Circuit requirements definition and specification review based on robot specifications - Analog/digital circuit design - Power supply circuit design (DC-DC, battery management, etc.) - Motor driver peripheral circuit design - Communications circuit (CAN, SPI, I²C, Ethernet, etc.) - Microcontroller/communication circuit (CAN, SPI, I²C, Ethernet, etc.) circuit design - Board layout design (artwork design) - Thermal design, noise/EMI countermeasures, and implementation verification - Prototype evaluation and debugging (board evaluation, signal measurement, noise quantification, etc.) - Circuit improvement and version upgrade support - Specification negotiation and coordination with other departments (control software, mechanical design, image processing) |
