Job Description As a mechanical engineer, you will be responsible for developing prototypes for automatic harvesting robots and multi-cart robots, as well as assembling and manufacturing mass-produced machines.
This is the perfect position for someone who wants to be involved in design work as a mechanical engineer and who loves making things.

The tomato-harvesting robot developed by the company is an automated robot that uses AI to determine ripeness and gently harvests whole bunches of tomatoes with a specially designed hand. It is being tested and researched and developed in the agriculturally advanced Netherlands, where it is expected to significantly improve harvesting efficiency in agricultural fields where there is a serious labor shortage.

The multi-cart robot is a multi-functional robot that automatically navigates within greenhouses and is capable of not only harvesting but also raking and maintenance tasks. By increasing work speed and reducing the number of people required, it helps to reduce the workload on producers.

[Tasks include]
- Assembly, adjustment, and testing of automatic harvesting robots and multi-cart robots
- Coordinating quotes, selection, and technical guidance with OEMs for robot mass production
- Planning and testing various robot tests
- Collecting and analyzing data for design improvement and optimization
- Proposing improvements and creating procedure manuals for assembly processes
- Design work using 3D CAD (end effectors, cart mechanisms, etc.)
- Coordinating quotes, selection, and technical guidance with OEMs for robot mass production
- Handling defects and breakdowns after installation and providing technical support
- Other robot development support
Requirement [Required]
- Mechanical design experience (3D CAD required)
- Experience assembling complex machinery
- Ability to create and read blueprints
- On-site support or field response experience
*Robot development experience is not madatory.

[Preferred]
- Robot design experience
- Test planning and execution experience
- Technical documentation and assembly procedure creation (technical writing)
- Experience with production engineering and improvement activities
