Job Description The hiring company is seeking a hands-on Mechatronics Engineer with a focus on mechanical design to support the development of our autonomous mobile robots and related accessories.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between mechanical and electrical engineering, working on motion systems, actuators, sensors, and the physical integration of electronic components.
You will collaborate closely with both mechanical and electrical engineers to develop robust, manufacturable, and intelligent robotic systems.

[ Main Responsibilities ]
- Electromechanical Design: Design and integrate mechanical components with sensors, actuators, and PCBs for robotic sub-systems such as drive units, lifting modules, and accessories.
- Root Cause Analysis: Troubleshoot electromechanical issues and implement remediation plans.
- Mechanical-Centric CAD Development: Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings, with proper GD&T.

[ Additional Responsibilities ]
- Electrical Development: Help design simple PCBs and harness routing throughout the AMR.
- Sensor & Actuator Selection: Participate in the selection and validation of components such as motors, encoders, and other sensors.
- Prototype Development: Assemble and test functional mechatronic systems. Lead debugging and iterative design improvements.
- Design for Manufacturing & Assembly: Develop designs optimized for manufacturing and assembly.
- Documentation: Create clear and maintainable technical documentation including BoMs, design specs, test reports, and assembly guides.
Requirement [ Required ]
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of industry experience working on electromechanical systems or robotics.
- CAD Proficiency: Strong experience with parametric CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks) and electronics CAD tools (e.g. Altium, KiCAD). Comfortable reviewing schematics and layout designs.
- Prototyping Skills: Comfortable assembling mechanical systems and integrating electrical components (e.g., motors, PCBs).
