Job Description | [Background for hiring] We are working on a project to automate processes in the back yard of a restaurant, focusing on robots picking tableware and food. Highly stable and fast pick-and-place performance is required for difficult objects to grasp, such as dirty tableware and overlapping tableware. In addition, safe motion generation is required by making full use of necessary sensor information in response to various changes in the environment (human traffic and sink layout). We will also work to maintain tableware hygiene by linking the robot motion with other equipment such as dishwashers. [Job description] - Responsible for developing programs that generate robot movements - Proposing what kind of sensor information is needed, such as visual cameras and tactile sensors, and developing grasping and trajectory plans based on that - Responsible for real-time control and high-level action planning |
