Job Description | In charge of thermal design, thermal analysis, and various thermal tests for small satellites and satellite-mounted equipment. - Implementation of on-orbit thermal analysis using a thermomathematical model and model calibration reflecting test results - Optimal thermal design to maintain each part of the satellite and onboard equipment within the permissible temperature range (design of thermal control methods using multilayer insulation (MLI), heat sinks, heaters, etc.) - Planning of verification plans such as thermal vacuum tests and thermal balance tests, creation of test plans/procedures, and work support - Overall optimization design in collaboration with mechanical and electrical designers, and in some cases, responsible for the design yourself |
Requirement | [Required skills/experience] - Experience in thermal analysis and thermal design for space equipment - Experience in space environment testing such as thermal vacuum testing Bachelor's degree or above in engineering or science - Business level Japanese [Preferred] - 3 or more years of practical experience in the space field or 3 or more years of practical experience in thermal design using thermal analysis - Experience using ThermalDesktop - English skills (a level that can be used in communication regarding technical content and business emails, etc.) |
