【Remote Control of Construction Machines】Robot SW Engineer【Autonomous Driving】

Company A university-launched startup aiming at DX (digital transformation) and automation of construction sites.
The main services are following :
- Provision of a real-time control system for construction machine in distant location
- Provision of collaborative unmanned construction machine
We will promote the DX of the construction and its machinery, by making full use of the cutting-edge IoT technology.
Job Description You will be in charge of advanced development of the company's own products, which are remote control machines and autonomous driving machines which can be attached to existing construction machines.
You will be mainly responsible for the development of advanced technologies for automation and will be required to discover customer needs and problems in the industry, and develop technologies to solve them.
In those processes, you will often work on unsolved issues. Thus, a certain level of academic background is required, mainly in motion planning, navigation, SLAM, or perception technology.
Since the demanded skills are broad, we are looking for people who are taking concrete actions to improve their skills, such as commitment to OSS or dissemination of technical information.
Specific tasks will be determined flexibly and optimally through discussion, depending on your skills, aptitude, and career objective.

◆Tasks include:
- Development of advanced technologies for autonomous software (motion planning, task planning, SLAM, navigation, perception)
- Technology integration using ROS/ROS2
- Software stabilization with CI/CD

◆Technology stack:
Ubuntu 20.04 / Python 3 / C++ / ROS1 / ROS2 / AWS / Tornado / React /MQTT / WebRTC / CAN-BUS
Requirement Must have:
- Implementation experience on robot
- Academic knowledge in one or more of the following domains: robotics (motion planning, task planning, SLAM, navigation, perception), mathematics (optimization, topology, statistics), and physics (analytical mechanics)
- Activeness in skill development, specifically in dissemination or development of OSS products.

Nice to have:
- Experience developing robots (including participation in robot contests, research, hobby, club activity for ROBOCON etc.)
- Conference presentation / paper publication in relevant domain
- Development experience on ROS/ROS2
- Development experience on Linux
- Experience of CI/CD-based operation and development on Github
- Experience developing products in robotics
- Experience developing software of image recognition / statistical processing
- Experience developing software of point cloud processing
- Experience developing web application
