Job Description [ Hiring Background ]
The company's proprietary metal inkjet technology manufactures electronic circuits using a fraction of the resources required conventionally, dramatically reducing water usage and CO2 emissions. The company was the first in the world to successfully mass-produce this innovative sustainable manufacturing process, and has raised over 10 billion yen to date.
We are seeking a mechanical design engineer to join us in this ambitious challenge, elevating this technology to a "de facto standard" accessible to manufacturers worldwide.

[ Job Description ]
As a core member of the team, you will be responsible for the overall mechanical design of industrial inkjet printing equipment. This is a critical position that directly influences product performance and quality.
Development will proceed in close collaboration with engineers from other fields, including electrical, software, and process development. You will engage in daily team discussions, and not only work on CAD design, but also have many opportunities to interact with the actual equipment, such as assembling and evaluating prototypes. You will quickly complete the design, prototyping, and evaluation cycle, aligning theory with reality, as you work together to create the equipment.
You will be deeply involved in the entire product development process, from concept design to mass production launch.

Specifically,

- Design work: Turning concepts into reality:
Using 3D CAD, you will turn ideas into concrete forms, from the overall equipment architecture to the detailed design of core components such as the high-precision positioning and transport mechanisms that determine performance.

- Pursuing quality based on theory:
Through CAE analysis, you will promote design verification and optimization to meet the strict specifications required for equipment, including strength, rigidity, and thermal stability.

- Improvement cycle through actual equipment:
Going beyond desk-based design, you will be deeply involved in the assembly and evaluation of prototypes, rapidly implementing an improvement cycle based on actual measurement data to enhance the product's completeness.

- Process lead - Bringing products to market:
From selecting optimal components to launching mass production in collaboration with manufacturing and suppliers, you will lead the entire process from product launch to market.
Requirement Requirements:
- Mechanical design experience for industrial equipment, manufacturing equipment, or precision machinery (approximately 3+ years)
- Practical design experience using 3D CAD
- Fundamental knowledge of mechanical engineering, including material mechanics, machine mechanics, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics (four forces)
- Fundamental knowledge of processing methods, such as sheet metal, cutting, and resin molding

Preferred Requirements:
- Design experience for inkjet devices, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, machine tools, etc.
- Experience designing high-precision positioning and transport mechanisms
- Practical experience with CAE (structural, thermal, fluid analysis, etc.)
- Knowledge of component technologies for machine control (sensors, actuators, etc.)
- Experience using various measuring instruments (laser measuring instruments, 3D measuring instruments, etc.)
- Experience with equipment startup and mass production
