Job Description | The robot system integration engineer (operational data analysis/DevOps) will be responsible for implementing the company's robot system on-site, as well as building and updating data monitoring tools to facilitate the development and operation of the robot. The robot system integration engineer will perform various software configuration tasks associated with the implementation of the company's robot system to customers (e.g., acquiring maps using the robot's LiDAR sensor, tuning the robot's internal driving software, setting driving routes and traffic control, and various server settings). In addition, even after the initial successful implementation, the operation of the company's robot system requires identifying operational issues at the customer's site, considering improvement plans, and working with the customer to continuously create an environment in which humans and robots can work together better. It is also necessary to make preventive improvements so that problems that occur in the robot's hardware and software do not affect operations. For these purposes, it is very important to: - Build an environment in which data obtained from robots in operation can be quickly deployed within the company and easily analyzed - Build a system to continuously deploy new software to customers. In this position, you will be performing integration tasks, with a particular focus on DevOps and operational data analysis. Specific duties are as follows: - Responsible for integrating the company's products to customers - - Configure the automatic transport robot (use Linux, configure ROS (Robot Operating System), run scripts, run Docker) - - At the customer's site, use the company's robots and internal tools to create a map of the installation site and configure operations, and set up the robot so that it can be operated - - Configure the network settings for the company's products such as automatic transport robots, servers, and network devices associated with on-site installation - Build an environment to remotely acquire and view operational data at customer sites - - Update the data acquisition environment built with Prometheus and Grafana to enable more information to be acquired and to make it easier to view. - - Devise and build a system to analyze data, quickly discover problems, and raise alerts. - - Expand the data that can be acquired in response to requests from engineers and operations staff inside and outside the company. - We will devise and implement improvements to the CI/CD system - We will set up and maintain the remote operation and monitoring environment (VPN, etc.) |
Requirement | [Required] - Work experience related to data confirmation and analysis tools - Experience using CUI operations in Linux, etc. (3 years or more) - Business level Japanese or English - Intermediate level Japanese. Able to read documents written in Japanese on one's own (translation tools are acceptable). Able to converse and email with customers in Japanese - Beginner to intermediate level English.
